Hope for a Future

I have never liked the idea of doing nothing and being supported financially by others. When I was growing up I felt that pocket money should be in some way earned, and even when I was in desperate need of an electric wheelchair and unable to afford one, I reached out to helpful strangers and so many made contributions and saw that I was able to move around independently again. This was necessary because at that time I didn't have the strength to take myself to the bathroom, let alone venture out into the world, and the general prognosis was that I would never regain that ability.

It was to be a chronic condition.

Enter blessed relief! I miraculously regained my strength and was able to move around pain free!

Now that wonderful, life saving wheelchair is able to move on to a home where someone else in as desperate a situation as I was in, will be able to use it.

Each step along the way has steered me in a direction that takes me by surprise at every turn.

I have tried to write blogs when I have been ill, but I never seemed to have very much to talk about. My aspirations of becoming an author have seemed out of reach and even finishing my high school diploma has been just beyond my grasp.

Each time I set my mind to learning anything academic, the progress is slow as I retrain my mind to function after its brush with death so long ago. Thankfully the actual injury seems to be mostly recovered, there are just patterns and processes that need to be retrained.

This, coupled with the ADHD that I was diagnosed with as a child has made finding stable work a bit of a nightmare. Until now.

Imagine this: ADHD, the inability to sit still, the constant activity in a scattered mind, encouraging the body to motion and adventure. Working against a body that is fatigued and in pain and unable to physically answer the call of the ADHD mind. Its been a confusing time for this poor brain of mine😂

With this in mind, I have always been on the look out for a day planner that will suit my needs, but I have never managed to find one!

So I have made my own! I am very proud of it too!

I hope others will be able to make good use of it as well.
